Baretti is in the loading arms business since more than thirty years. Our present products represent the most advanced technological solution available on the market.

The first application was in the early 60's and specifically for the SAROM Group. From that day it has been a progressive history of successes with the most prestigious names of the market.

The recent anti-pollution regulations and the more restrictive and better security requirements have driven us towards new solutions and more modern design concepts.

1986 was a milestone to the new era of the modern design of the loading arms:
Baretti has been the first to apply hydraulic motors instead of the oleo-dynamic cylinders. This solution allows a smoother control of tha arm's kinematics and generally of all its movements.

The arm can gently rotate up to 360°. This feature can be better appreciated during starting and braking phases. This is manly due to the absence of large external volumes (cylinders).
Additionally the maintenance is much easier and the weight of the structure is lower.

Our research team is focused to optimise the static and dynamics behaviour of these devices.
The support of the most advanced 3D design software enable us to improve the project time and quality.

The result is lighter and more stiff structure that means lower inertia and lower weight.
